Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition- that's what StarSkate is all about!
Our StarSkate program is for those skaters who have successfully progressed through our CanSkate program and have completed CanSkate Stage 6 (or equivalent skating skills) and have an interest in pursuing figure skating. StarSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop the fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of dance, freeskate, skills and interpretive skating. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada tests through a nationally standardized testing system.
Our StarSkate program is divided into 4 levels: (see below for session requirements)
1. Junior PreStar
2. Junior Star
3. Intermediate Star
4. Senior Star

Each Session Includes: 10 minute stroking/endurance session + Group Lessons led by our club coaches (Mon/Thur 25 min - Tues 30 min) +5 minute independent practice time
|
Session Pre-Requisites: Skaters must have passed CanSkate Stage 4 or have equivalent skating skills helmets are mandatory until skaters complete Stage 5

2-day membership is recommended but not required. Private coaches are not required, but may be available if you would like lessons CLICK HERE to learn more about the Junior PreStar program |
