Suitable for adults & teens with little or no skating experience, looking to learn the basic skills of skating. No previous skating experience is required. Age 13+

 

Our Teen and Adult Learn-to-Skate program teaches the fundamental skating skills required for all ice sports. Hockey, ringette, figure skating or recreational.
 
This shared session is open to skaters age 13 and older. 
Lessons are taught in a group format and skaters will progress at their own pace. Teen skaters who complete the program have the opportunity to advance into our Junior Star figure skating program. 
 
Each session will include:
  • 5 minute warm up
  • 30 minute group lesson
  • 5-minute independent skating time.
 
Helmet Policy: a CSA approved helmet must be worn for all skaters until Stage 5 has been completed.
 
Skates: skaters may choose to wear hockey or figure skates.
